Familiar with the above statement? As human beings we cannot be separated with mistakes or errors.
Nobody is perfect.
When we have unintentionally or intentionally did something bad and we realize our mistakes, we feel guilty and hope we had done things differently...
Worse is when we repeat the same mistakes or move from one mistake to another mistake.
Mistakes after mistakes
Of course, we cannot turn back time and undo what is already done.
When our mistakes involve other people, we really hope that they forgive us..no matter how many times or how many different mistakes we make.. we pray and hope hard that they find it in their hearts to forgive us.
But it is not easy..people have emotions and they may need time.
P
It's funny how it is difficult for people to forgive other people BUT the Creator of people, Allah the Most High welcomes the wrongdoers and always gives hopes of forgiveness to anyone.
We may have committed sins up to the highest limits or sins filling up the largest bucket ~
Allah gives us the most wonderful responds:
Don't despair, don't lose hope for Allah the Most Beneficent is ever willing to accept repentance from His servants.
Ali-Imran : 133-136
"And vie with one another to attain to your Sustainer's forgiveness and to a paradise as vast as the heavens and the earth, which has been readied for the God-conscious
and who, when they have committed a shameful deed or have [otherwise] sinned against themselves, remember God and pray that their sins be forgiven - for who but God could forgive sins? - and do not knowingly persist in doing whatever [wrong] they may have done.
These it is who shall have as their reward forgiveness from their Sustainer, and gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide: and how excellent a reward for those who labour!"
How Great is Allah the Ever Forgiving... who is happy when His servants come to Him in repentance.
Reflecting upon these verses..I look into myself.
How many a times when the people close to me, the people whom I claim to love make mistakes and say sorry.. I was too busy focusing on my emotions. I took such a long time to forgive and forget.
Look into our hearts..maybe there are still those mistakes that other people did that inflicted pain or trouble for us.. that we cannot find a way to forgive let alone forget.
Yes..the pain was too deep.. in human logic, it is impossible to heal the wounds caused by such a mistake.
But haven't I also committed sins? Sins so big that I am too ashamed to even think about? Haven't I also made mistakes by repeating my sins?
And Allah The Most Merciful says:
"Say: “[Thus speaks God:] ‘O you servants of Mine who have transgressed against your own selves! Despair not of God’s mercy: behold, God forgives all sins - for, verily, He alone is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace!’”
Of course it is not easy...
but let's pray that Allah gives us strength to forgive other's who have wronged us....
hoping that Allah al-Wadood (Most Loving) forgives us and grants us jannah despite all our wrongdoings.
Al-Baqarah: 186
"And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way."
Al-Baqarah: 186
"And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way."
Allahumma balighna Ramadhan.
May Allah bless us with Ramadhan and Lailatul Qadar.
